What it's for

One shared inbox for the texts customers send to your company number, newest first. A text from a number Thermal cannot match to a customer shows as Unknown number; a number that belongs to more than one customer shows as Shared number.

The route is /messages.

Tabs

There are no tabs. The All, Unmatched and Matched chips narrow the list. The Unmatched chip shows only to company-wide office roles.

Panels and controls

The row menu offers Assign to customer on unknown and shared numbers (company-wide roles only), and Reply and Open customer on matched texts. Clicking a row opens the customer's Messages tab.

What it accepts

Assign to customer takes a customer and, optionally, one of their contacts. Every unmatched text from that number then moves to the customer. If the chosen contact has no phone, the number is saved on it so later texts match; an existing phone is never replaced.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Customers area.

Owners, office managers and dispatchers can open it. Technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.

The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
