Get the tech app

What it's for

Get the tech app is the download page linked in a technician's app-invite text. It chooses a destination based on the device opening it. Ask your office which installation or testing access is available to your company.

The route is /app, using the existing trythermal.com/app link. Your office can confirm whether you should use a store listing or a testing invite.

Tabs

The page has no tabs.

Panels and controls

• Android phone — follows the Google Play destination used by the download page.
• iPhone or iPad — shows The iPhone app is coming soon instead of opening an App Store listing. The page also offers the Google Play link.
• Computer — shows a QR code for the same download link and a Google Play button.

Adding browser field pages to your phone's home screen creates an installed web app, with the browser's navigation and offline limits. It does not install the separate native technician app. See Use the native tech app for its Today, Schedule, Van and Profile tabs and its Profile shortcuts.

What it accepts

Nothing. The page has no form.

How to configure it

No company setting changes the download destinations. Whether an app invite can be sent by text depends on the company's texting registration; until it is Ready, the invitation goes by email only.

Who can see it

This is a public page. Anyone can open it, signed in or not.
