What it's for
OEM bulletins is the catalog of manufacturer service bulletins that have been linked to your vendors — recalls, technical advisories, and service notices pulled in from each provider's feed. It sits next to your vendor records: a bulletin here is tied to the manufacturer that issued it, not to a specific job or piece of equipment.
Reach it from Materials & Purchasing → OEM bulletins in the sidebar, at
/oem-bulletins. The older /settings/manufacturer-documents address still
works and redirects here.

Disclaimer and health banner
A standing disclaimer above the table: "Thermal surfaces OEM bulletins for reference only. The original manufacturer publisher is the authoritative source — verify applicability and follow their published instructions before acting." Below it, a banner appears only when something needs attention: a red bar if the latest provider sync failed ("review sync runs before relying on catalog metadata"), or an amber bar if sync is stale — no successful run in the last 7 days ("OEM source links remain authoritative" even so). No banner means the catalog is current.
The table
- Search — "Search bulletin number or title…", matches bulletin number or title.
- Filters: Provider (which manufacturer feed it came from), Status (Active, Superseded, Withdrawn, Draft), and Sync health (Healthy, Stale, Failed, Partial).
- Columns: Bulletin (the bulletin number), Title, Provider, Status, Sync (the latest sync run's status and date, or a dash if none has run), Content (file size, or "Unavailable" if storage can't serve it, or a dash if there's no version on file), and OEM source — an Open link straight to the manufacturer's own published bulletin.
When your org has no bulletins linked yet, the table doesn't render at all — you see "No OEM bulletins linked yet" instead, with a note that bulletins appear once manufacturer document sync links them to your vendors. If a search or filter matches nothing, you see "No matching bulletins" with a prompt to try clearing filters or search terms.
What it accepts
This screen has no create, edit, or delete form — every row arrives through manufacturer document sync, not manual entry. The only user input is search text and the three filters above, none of which are required or validated beyond matching an existing value.

How to configure it
- There's nothing to configure on this screen itself — it's a read-only view onto sync results. What gets pulled in, and how often, is controlled by each manufacturer document provider's own sync setup, not from here.
- Vendors determine which providers' bulletins can link to your org at all — a bulletin only shows up here once it's tied to a vendor you have on file.
- If a sync keeps failing or staying stale, that's a signal to check the provider connection, not something you can fix by editing a row here — there's nothing to edit.
Who can see it
- Owners and office staff can view the OEM bulletin catalog.
- Anyone else in the Settings area (there is no other role that reaches Settings today) sees "Access restricted" — "Only office staff or an owner can view the OEM bulletin catalog." — instead of the table.
- Dispatchers and technicians cannot reach Settings at all.
