What it's for

A 13-week look ahead at crew hours, so you can see which weeks your technicians are over-committed before you promise a start date. Each row is one week, Monday to Sunday, starting with the current week in your company's time zone. Open it from Labor forecast on the Projects list.

The route is /projects/labor-forecast.

Panels and controls

One table, one row per week:

  • Capacity: active technicians in your branch scope × the business-day hours from your company settings (or your branch's own hours) × five business days. This is the same capacity the Dispatch board uses.
  • Booked visits: hours of visits in that week assigned to those technicians. Canceled visits do not count.
  • Project demand: labor still needed on planned project phases. For each phase, the labor estimate minus hours already clocked on it minus hours already scheduled on its jobs, spread evenly over the phase's remaining planned weeks. A phase without planned dates or an estimate adds nothing, and a phase that has used up its estimate adds nothing.
  • Load: booked visits plus project demand, with a bar showing it against capacity.
  • Shortfall: how far load exceeds capacity, shown in red. A dash means the week fits.
  • Subcontractor visits: hours of visits assigned to subcontractors. Shown on their own; they never count against your crew's capacity.

A branch-scoped user sees only their branch: its technicians, visits on its jobs, and phases of projects whose site is in that branch. Phases of projects with no site count only for users who see every branch.

What it accepts

Nothing is entered on this screen. Each phase's planned start, planned end and labor estimate (in hours) are set on the phase row of the project record.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Projects area.

Owners, office managers and dispatchers can open it. Technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.

The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
