Batch invoice run

Open Invoices → Batch RUN in Thermal →

What it's for

Open Batch run from the Invoices header to review several completed jobs and create their draft invoices together. Each job gets its own invoice. The preview groups those invoices by bill-to customer. Nothing is sent to customers during the run.

Tabs

There are no tabs. Filters and job selection appear above one invoice-preview dialog.

Panels and controls

Filter by Site customer, Completed from, Completed through, and branch, then choose Apply filters. Completion dates use your company's time zone. The list shows up to 100 jobs; narrow the filters to see a smaller set. Internal jobs and jobs with an existing invoice are excluded.

Select jobs and choose Preview invoices. Review each job's bill-to customer, charges, tax, total and due date. Jobs that still need line-item approval, a parts-hold release or completion paperwork appear under Will be skipped, with the reason.

Choose Generate draft invoices to create the previewed drafts, then View invoice to continue the usual review and sending process. If a request's outcome is uncertain, preview again: jobs already invoiced are skipped on a repeat attempt.

What it accepts

Select 1–50 jobs per run. An unavailable job prevents the selection from being processed. If charges, the payer or other previewed billing facts change after preview, close the preview and review the selection again. A failed generation rolls back that run's invoice changes.

The job's explicit bill-to customer wins; otherwise its agreement payer is used, then the site's customer. Captured service-charge prices are preserved, and warranty-covered lines bill at zero. The run creates one invoice per job, including when several jobs share a payer.

How to configure it

The run uses the same tax, payment terms and completion requirements as individual job invoicing. Set the job's bill-to customer or agreement before previewing. There is no separate batch pricing setting.

Who can see it

Owners and office managers with Invoices access can open the page and generate drafts. Branch restrictions apply to job selection and are checked again before generation. A saved link or submitted job identifier cannot expand that access.
