Notification preferences
What it's for
Choose the notice emails and texts you receive from your contractor. Open Manage notification preferences at the bottom of a notice email to reach this page. The company name appears at the top, so you can see whose notices you are changing.
Stopping notice emails does not stop invoice emails. Your choices apply to the company named on the page.
Tabs
This page has no tabs. The notice categories and stop-all controls appear together.
Panels and controls
Each available category has separate Email and Text choices:
- Visit notices
- Arrival updates
- Service documents
- Feedback requests
Select or clear a checkbox, then use the Save button beside that choice. A saved message confirms the change.
Use Stop all notice emails to stop notice email for the linked address. Use Stop all notice texts to stop notice texts to the current phone number. These controls change one channel at a time. Some notice links show only the stop-all controls.
What it accepts
Open the link from your notice email. You do not need a Thermal account or a login. The email choice names the address whose notices you are changing.
Keep the link private. Anyone holding it can use the choices it provides. An invalid link does not open the preference page.
How to configure it
Turning texts on requests a confirmation text. Reply YES to confirm permission to receive notices. You can also reply STOP to a text to opt out, or HELP for help.
The preferences page shows the company name and any company branding supplied by your contractor.
Who can see it
Anyone holding the notice email's private link can open the page without signing in. It manages the recipient and company named by that link.
