Agreements
What it's for
Agreements is your recurring revenue in one list — "Maintenance plans and the equipment they cover." Each agreement ties a customer, a plan, a price, a visit cadence, and a set of covered units together, and it is what turns one-off service into a book of business.
Reach it from Service & Assets → Agreements in the sidebar, at
/agreements. Opening one goes to its record at /agreements/<agreement>.
Tabs
The list has no tabs. Two sibling screens sit alongside it: New Agreement for creating one, and Renewal risk for the ones in danger of lapsing.
Panels and controls
- The list shows each agreement with its customer, plan, status, and value, so the book can be read top to bottom without opening anything.
- New opens the creation form.
- Opening a row goes to the agreement record, where visits, covered equipment, invoices, and profitability live.
Agreements are the reason equipment coverage matters elsewhere in the product: a unit under an active agreement scores lower on risk, gets a projected next service date, and shows as covered on its own record and on the customer's.
What it accepts
The list writes nothing. Agreements are created on New Agreement and changed on their own record.
How to configure it
- Agreements settings decide the plan templates, the cadences, and whether auto-renew is on by default.
- Invoicing settings decide how an agreement bills and what a renewal invoice looks like.
- Price book tiers and rate cards decide what an agreement is priced at.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Agreements area.
Owners, office managers and dispatchers can open it. Technicians cannot — coverage shows on the jobs they work, in the field app. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
