Customers id consignment

Reviewed against source:

What it's for

Consignment stock tracks parts you keep at a customer's service sites. Open it from a customer record, at /customers/[id]/consignment. Consumption creates a billable line; placing stock does not.

Tabs

This screen has no tabs. A Stock table sits above a Consumption billing table.

Panels and controls

Record placement (shown when the customer has a service site and a quantity-tracked item) opens a form: Service site, Item, Quantity delivered, Unit price ($), Bill-to customer and Agreement. An explicit bill-to takes priority over the agreement payer. Without either, consumption bills to the site customer.

The stock table has Item, Site, On-hand, Unit price, Billing, and per-row actions: Record consumption (off when nothing is on hand), Replenish and Edit billing. Edit billing changes the unit price (for future consumption only), bill-to and agreement, then Save billing.

Consumption billing lists Date, Item, Site, Billable party, Consumed, Unit price, Amount, Status (Billable or Returned) and a Return all button. A full return voids the line and restores stock.

Empty states: No consignment stock and No consumption yet.

What it accepts

Quantities are whole numbers. A consumption cannot exceed the on-hand quantity. The page shows the result of each save. An inactive agreement must be replaced or removed before consumption resumes. Consumption lines are ready for billing and have not been invoiced from this page.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Customers and Inventory area.

Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
