Settings equipment expiry rules

Open Settings → Equipment Expiry Rules in Thermal →

What it's for

Sets when a unit of equipment is due for a dated requirement, such as a hydrostatic test, six-year maintenance or certificate expiry. Each rule works out the due date from an equipment date or from the last completed inspection.

The route is /settings/equipment-expiry-rules.

Tabs

None. It is a single list of rules.

Panels and controls

The list shows Rule, Equipment type, Due after, Counts from, and Status (Active or Archived). New rule opens the form. Each row's actions menu has Edit, and Turn off or Turn on. Save rule stores the form. Due after (months) is a whole number from 1 to 1200. The page title is Equipment expiry rules.

What it accepts

A name, an equipment type (fixed once saved), how many months until it is due, and what the months count from.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Settings area.

Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.

The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
