Text messaging
Open Settings → Integrations → Text Messaging in Thermal →
What it's for
Text messaging sets up your own texting number so appointment reminders and
on-my-way texts come from your business instead of Thermal's shared number. You
tell Thermal about your business, send the profile for review, and see where
the review stands. Until the review is done and your number is verified, your
texts keep sending from Thermal's shared number. Reach this screen from
Settings → Data and connections → Integrations, at
/settings/integrations/text-messaging.
Tabs
This screen has no tabs. It's a single page: a Status panel above a Business profile form.
Panels and controls
Status
Shows one of four states. Not started means no profile has been sent yet; use Set up texting to jump to the form. In review means your profile is with the carriers and there is nothing to do but wait. Verified shows your texting number, and texts now send from it. Rejected shows the reason given and an Edit and resubmit button that takes you back to the form.
Business profile
The form the carriers review: legal business name, registration type and number, country, address, contact name, email and phone, website, and how many texts you expect to send each month. Submit for review sends it. After you submit, the status changes to In review.

How to configure it
- Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves. It holds your texting sender setup itself.
- Once your number is verified, appointment reminders and on-my-way texts send from it. Before that, they send from Thermal's shared number.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Integrations area.
Owners can open it. Office managers and dispatchers and technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
