What it's for
The optional setup step that brings your existing customers, prices and other records into Thermal. It is the same screen as step 4 of company signup, opened again from the setup checklist.
The route is /setup/records.
Tabs
There are no tabs.
Panels and controls
Four choices, one at a time:
- Accounting software (recommended): connect QuickBooks Online or Business Central. Customers, items and prices, and tax rates come across and stay in step.
- Another field-service app: a Which one? field asks which app you use, then Upload an export opens the importer.
- Spreadsheets: Upload a file opens the importer for Excel or CSV files.
- Starting fresh: Skip this step marks the step skipped. Nothing is lost by skipping.
What it accepts
The Which one? answer is free text, up to 200 characters. It is kept only while Another field-service app is the chosen answer.
How to configure it
- shopProfile settings change how this screen behaves. They live under Settings.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Settings area.
Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
