What it's for
Profile is your shop's identity and business defaults — name, contact info, address, hours, and the brand color and logo that show up on invoices and proposals. It's also where the Frosty assistant module gets turned on and where you see your own account and branch-view details. This is the default landing page for the Settings area — anyone without owner-only access (like Job Costing or Warranty) who's blocked from those screens lands here instead.
Reach it from Settings → Profile in the sidebar, at /settings/profile.
Tabs
This screen has no tabs. It's a stack of labeled sections: shop logo, shop profile, modules, business address, business hours, scheduling defaults, and brand color — followed by a separate Account summary card.
Panels and controls
Shop logo
Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP file (2 MB max) to replace the Thermal wordmark on your proposals. SVG uploads are rejected outright. Remove logo, shown only when a logo is set, asks for confirmation first: "Remove your shop logo? The Thermal wordmark will appear on proposals instead."
Shop profile
Shop name (required), Email, Phone, and Timezone — the timezone used for scheduling and the dispatch timeline.
Modules
A single toggle for the Frosty assistant, the in-app helper that answers from Thermal's guides and points you to the right screen. Off by default while it rolls out; turning it off removes it immediately.
Business address
Street address, Suite / unit, City, State / region, ZIP / postal, and a 2-letter Country code. Shows on invoices and proposals sent to customers.
Business hours
Opens and Closes, picked from a list of hours. Sets the working-day window shown on the dispatch board.
Scheduling defaults
Default job duration (15–480 minutes; blank uses the per-job-type system default) and When assigning a tech with no scheduled time — either "Use the agreement's scheduled date" (recommended) or "Book a window starting now." Both are org-wide fallbacks; a branch with its own override under Settings → Branches → Defaults uses that instead.
Brand color
A color picker paired with a hex text field, used on invoices, proposals, and customer emails. Leave it blank to use Thermal's default color.
Account
A read-only summary card: your Organization ID and a Branch view toggle showing whether you're viewing your home branch or an override.
Save changes submits every section above (except the logo, which has its own upload button) in one form.

How to configure it
- Brand color and the logo apply everywhere a document goes to a customer — invoices, proposals, and customer emails all pull from here.
- Scheduling defaults are the fallback for any branch that hasn't set its own override on Settings → Branches → Defaults; a single-branch shop only needs to set this once.
- Turning on Frosty assistant here is what makes it appear in the app at all — it's off by default.
- Timezone feeds the dispatch board and scheduling; get this right before relying on either.
Who can see it
- Owners and office managers can open Settings → Profile and change every field on it.
- Dispatchers and technicians cannot reach Settings at all.
