Manage marketing and reputation

Open Marketing → Approvals in Thermal →

The Marketing group is Thermal's in-app marketing CRM — a scorecard, lead queue, reviews inbox, website page list, and an approvals queue for anything marketing-related before it goes live. It is not the public trythermal.com marketing website; it's where your team manages your customers' marketing. Every screen here is powered by a planned integration called Presence, which is not connected yet. Until it is, each screen shows its real layout with an honest "not connected" gap — never a made-up number or a fake row.

Check your weekly scorecard

Overview is the marketing scorecard: leads and calls, search rankings, website traffic, ad results, and budget pacing, in plain language. Toggle between Call volume and Pipeline & renewals, and switch between the Scorecard, Channels, and Spend tabs. Every cell is marked "unmeasured" until Presence is connected — that's a gap, not a zero.

Review a lead

Leads lists every call and web form Presence captures, with the source, a recording, and a summary. A lead moves through Captured → Disposition → Customer → Work order, and from the list you can create a customer, book a work order, or mark it lost. Until call tracking and form capture are connected, the list stays empty and the weekly counts (New, In progress, Booked, Lost) show as not connected.

Respond to a review

Reputation is your reviews inbox. Once your Google Business Profile is connected through Presence, new reviews get a drafted reply here to approve, edit, or dismiss, each with a reason. Reviews of 1–3 stars always wait for a person to send them — they're never sent automatically. The Google profile freshness section tracks whether your business hours, photos, Google posts, and Q&A are current.

Review site pages and content

Website covers your Presence-built site in three tabs:

  • Pages — every page on your site with its status (Draft, Needs review, Live, Unpublished), visit count, and last-updated date.
  • Content pipeline — a board of content moving through Needs review → Scheduled → Published.
  • Edits & undo — recent page changes, each with a before/after and a one-tap undo, plus the guardrails on what an edit can never touch: phone and address, license numbers, agreement pricing, and booking/payment links.

Approve marketing work before it goes live

Approvals is the single queue for anything marketing-related waiting on a decision — website pages, blog/local-search posts, ad copy, social posts, and review replies. Each draft carries a plain-language reason; you Approve or Dismiss it. The Autonomy tab sets how much Presence can do on its own, per module:

  • Off / Suggest / Auto for each checkpoint (website pages, local-search posts, ad copy & budget, social posts, review replies, Google profile posts).
  • Website pages and ad copy never run in Auto — a person always approves.
  • Auto modes carry bounds, for example social posts capped at 2/week, or review replies auto-posting only 4–5 star reviews while 1–3 star always waits for a person.
  • A master kill switch stops everything.

Every module defaults to Off. Nothing here is wired to a live Presence connection yet, so changes on this panel aren't saved — the screen is real, the save target isn't, and it says so.

Reference

  • Who can reach Marketing — Owners and Office users only; it's an admin/control surface, not part of the day-to-day dispatcher or technician work areas. The module must also be switched on under Settings → Capabilities; until it is, the screen says so. See Roles & permissions.
  • Page and content statuses — draft / pending_approval / published / unpublished, and the lead disposition stages, are listed in Status & domain values.
