Panels and controls
Each row shows Pass, Needs review, or Not applicable, an exception count, and an explanation. Select a row to open its source records.
- Invoice totals final: issued invoices have whole-cent totals that match subtotal plus tax, and no draft or invoice awaiting approval has a posted payment.
- Time entries approved: entries dated through the month end have been approved. Draft, submitted and rejected entries remain exceptions.
- Received goods billed: posted receipt quantities through the month end have matching vendor bill quantities. Partial receipts count once; returns awaiting vendor credit also need review.
- WIP journal current: the selected month's saved position has no missing estimates or approval blockers. A nonzero position needs an approved journal and reversal for that saved position.
- No holds carried into the month: no current invoice hold was placed before the first day of the selected month.
When your accounting connection is Business Central, five more rows appear. They read Not applicable for QuickBooks, Sage Intacct and companies with no live connection, and each links to Settings → Accounting connection:
- Business Central invoices confirmed: invoices dated through the month end that Thermal sent to Business Central and whose current Business Central document has no posting confirmation yet. A corrected invoice that was issued again waits for its new document's confirmation.
- Business Central corrections sent: invoices with a correction or cancellation still waiting to reach Business Central, including void invoices.
- Business Central changes accepted: changes Business Central did not accept and nobody has resolved. A retry that was delivered resolves the original, and a retry that also failed does not count twice.
- Business Central differences resolved: differences found by reconciliation that still need review.
- Business Central updates arriving: incoming Business Central updates are not delayed.
Entity types that reconciliation does not cover are listed for information and never block readiness.
What it accepts
Choose a Month and select Review month. The default is the last completed month in your company's timezone.
The checklist shows current readiness for records dated through the selected month end, including older unresolved items. It does not reconstruct a historical close. Receipt billing and time approval reflect their current state. A month that has not ended is labelled as such.
How to configure it
Resolve exceptions in their source screens, then refresh the checklist. This page does not close or lock a period, approve time, change invoices, or post journals. Review your books before closing even when the checks are clear.
Who can see it
You need company-wide access, the Reports, Invoices, Purchasing, Projects and Staff areas, and permission to view costs. Branch-scoped users see an explanation instead of a partial checklist.
