What it's for

The page is a read-out. It does not adjust stock or write off a part.

Panels and controls

Minimum idle days starts at 90. Enter a whole number from 1 to 36500, choose Branch when you can compare branches, and select Filter. All branches is available when your account is not limited to one branch.

Tiles are Known value at risk (allocated from remaining cost layers), Idle part locations, and Locations without layer value (excluded from known value).

Idle inventory columns are Part, Vendor part number, Location, On hand, Last outbound, Days idle, and Allocated layer value. Last outbound is Never recorded when there has been no outbound movement. Allocated layer value is Not valued when the part has no remaining cost layer. Opening a row goes to that inventory item.

Export downloads the selection as CSV.

Empty state: No idle stock in this window / Parts with stock on hand appear here once they reach the selected number of days without outbound use or transfer.

What it accepts

Used parts (consumed or sold on jobs) and outbound transfers reset the idle clock. Receipts and inbound transfers do not. Stock with no recorded outbound movement ages from its first stock balance. Days are elapsed 24-hour periods. Value sums remaining cost layers across the company and allocates that pool by each location's on-hand quantity. That is an allocation, not a location-specific cost history. No last-cost estimate is substituted for a part without remaining cost layers.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes the idle rule. Set Minimum idle days on this page. It starts at 90.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Reports area.

Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot, because they do not have the Inventory area or View costs by default. Opening it requires both the Inventory area and View costs. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
