What it's for

Open Reports → Time on site to compare scheduled and actual on-site time by technician. Use the variance to see where completed visits took more or less time than scheduled. Travel appears separately.

The report is at /reports/time-on-site.

Tabs

This report has no tabs. The date and branch filters apply to the summary and technician table together.

How to read the figures

  • Scheduled minutes add up the scheduled duration of measured visits.
  • On-site minutes add up the time from arrival to completion for those same visits.
  • Variance minutes are on-site minutes minus scheduled minutes. A positive number means more time on site than scheduled; a negative number means less.
  • Measured visits have both an arrival stamp and a completion stamp.
  • Not measured counts completed visits missing either stamp. These visits do not contribute to the duration comparison.
  • Travel hours include approved travel entries with a clock-out. Travel does not count toward on-site minutes or variance.

The summary tiles show totals for the selected period and branch. A technician with no measured visits has a dash in the duration columns, even if they have unmeasured visits or travel. Canceled visits and visits on deleted jobs are excluded.

Choose dates and a branch

Set From and To, choose a branch if available, then select Filter. Both dates are included. The initial period is the current calendar month in your organization's time zone.

Visits fall into the period by their scheduled start date. Travel falls into the period by its clock-in date.

Visits follow the job's branch. Travel follows the technician's branch, so the two may differ when a technician works at another branch. If your access is limited to one branch, the report stays within that branch. Users with access across branches can select a branch or All branches.

A visit may show Unavailable technician when the job is in your branch but the technician's name is outside your permitted branch access. The visit still counts toward the job's branch.

Download the report

Select Export CSV or Export XLSX to download the technician rows for the current date and branch filters. Duration cells are blank when a technician has no measured visits; the visit counts and travel hours remain visible.

Downloads include up to 50,000 technician rows. If more rows match, the file ends with a truncation notice. Narrow the dates or branch and export again.

What it accepts

This report does not change visits or time entries. From and To accept calendar dates; reversed dates are put in chronological order. The Branch filter offers only branches within your access.

How to configure it

The report uses your organization's time zone for date boundaries. Its figures come from visit timestamps and approved travel entries; the date and branch controls change which records are included.

Who can see it
