PO receiving backlog

Open Reports → PO Receiving Backlog in Thermal →

What it's for

Open Reports → PO receiving backlog to see purchase order lines that have been ordered but not fully received. Use it to chase vendors and to see how long each line has been waiting.

The route is /reports/po-receiving-backlog.

Tabs

The report has one view: a table of open lines with a vendor subtotal after each vendor's lines.

Panels and controls

The header shows the number of open lines. The table has Vendor, PO, Line, Ordered, Received, Outstanding, Outstanding value, Ordered on, Days open and Age bucket. Age buckets are 0–7, 8–30 and 31+ days.

Only ordered and partly received POs count; received, canceled and deleted POs are excluded. Quantities are in purchase units, valued at the stored unit cost. Age starts at the first ordered event, or at creation when that event is unavailable. Vendor subtotals add up open lines only. Export downloads the rows as CSV.

What it accepts

The only control is the branch chips, shown when you can compare branches. When nothing is outstanding, the report shows No outstanding PO lines. This is a read-only report. You need access to Purchasing and permission to view costs.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Reports area.

Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot, because they do not have the Purchasing area or View costs by default. Opening it requires both the Purchasing area and View costs. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.

The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
