What it's for
Fleet equipment health ranks equipment by how much trouble it is causing — repair spend, repeat visits, failures, and downtime. It is the report that turns "that unit is always breaking" into a case for replacing it.
Reach it from Reports → Fleet equipment health, at

Columns: Equipment, Branch, Customer / site, Score, Repair cost, Repeat, PM, Failures, Issues, Downtime, Last activity, Equipment type, Manufacturer, and Install year.
- Score is the health figure, and it is built from the columns beside it rather than being an opinion — repair spend, repeat visits, failures, missed PM, and downtime.
- Repeat and Failures are the two that carry a replacement argument. A unit with high repair cost and no repeats had one bad year; a unit with repeats has a pattern.
- PM shows whether the maintenance that was sold has actually been delivered, which matters before blaming the equipment.
- Manufacturer and Install year across the whole estate is how a purchasing pattern becomes visible — one manufacturer's units clustering at the top of this report is worth knowing before the next order.
Export CSV takes it out; Clear resets the filters.
Empty states
No equipment in scope, No failures recorded, and No replacement candidates.
What it accepts
| Field | Format | Required | Rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Filters | Branch, equipment type, manufacturer, date range | No | "Clear" resets them |
The report is a read-out over equipment records and the work done against them.
How to configure it
- Equipment records are the input: install year, warranty dates, and meter configuration all feed the score, so thin records produce a thin report.
- Job costing settings decide how repair cost is attributed to a unit.
- Agreements settings decide the PM cadence the PM column measures against.
- Branches scope the report.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Reports area.
Owners, office managers and dispatchers can open it. Technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
