What it's for

Possible duplicate receipts lists pairs of payments that look like the same money recorded twice. Open it from Reports → Possible duplicate receipts, at /reports/ar-duplicate-receipts.

Two receipts are paired when they are on the same invoice, for the same bill-to customer, the same amount and currency, and received within 3 days of each other. When both receipts record a payment method, the methods must match too. The report looks at the last 90 days. It is for review only: nothing is reversed or corrected for you.

Panels and controls

Two tiles sit above the table: Possible duplicate pairs and Receipts to review. The second tile says Review only · no automatic reversals, or Receipt limit reached · newest 2,000 only when more receipts exist than the report reads.

The table has one row per pair: Bill-to customer, Amount per receipt, First receipt · invoice, Matching receipt · invoice and Review reason. Each receipt cell links to its invoice and shows the receipt id, the received date and time, and the payment method (or Method unknown). The table pages 25 rows at a time.

When nothing matches, the empty state reads No possible duplicate receipts.

What it accepts

The report reads up to 2,000 recent receipts and up to 1,000 review pairs, with at most 100 pairs per matching invoice and amount. Voided, refunded and reversed receipts are left out, and receipts without a received date cannot be compared. Only your authorized branches are included. There are no filters or inputs on the page.

Who can see it

This screen sits behind the Reports area.

Owners, office managers and dispatchers can open it. Technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
